The Cole

FUE System

Dr. John P. Cole is a well-known hair transplant surgeon. He is the one who designed all the devices and instruments used in hair restoration today. Thus, he created this equipment specifically for use in FUE hair transplant procedures. When someone has hair implants, he or she might cut hair groups. If these groups are split or damaged, the hair bulb can be damaged. These new technologies reduce the danger of cutting hair follicles. These technologies allow a person to extract and move hair from one place to another. In this way, the hair follicle will look natural.

Cole Instruments offers a variety of hair transplant tools to aid doctors in their treatments. These devices are intended to improve patient outcomes while increasing overall efficacy. Thus, Cole Instruments supports different procedures such as the following:

  •   Donor harvesting
  •   Graft storage
  •   Recipient site preparation
  •   Graft preparation
  •   Hairline design

Many instruments are still in the design or testing stages.

CDD-Vortex: Cole Dissection Device

The Cole Dissection Device (CDD-Vortex) is the first of its kind to have a patented depth control tip. Cole Instruments is the official distributor of the CDD-Vortex or Cole Dissection Device (CI). The CDD-Vortex’s most notable features are:

  •   Minimal vibration technology
  •   Speed indicator up to 25,000 revolutions per minute
  •   Battery life indicator
  •   Foot pedal

With a maximum recharge period of less than 2 1/2 hours, the device may run for up to nine hours between charges. This device works with 240 volts of power, has a two-prong power, and can be plugged in almost anywhere.

Cole Instruments’ Different FUE Extraction Punches

Cole Instruments has four distinct varieties of FUE extraction punches to choose from. These punches include the following:

  •   Cole Instruments Classic Punch
  •   Cole Instruments Surrounded Punches
  •   Cole Instruments Best-Value-Coated Punches
  •   Cole Instruments Best-Value-Titanium-Nitride-Coated Punches

The doctor chooses the type of FUE extraction punch based on the patient’s unique needs. The extraction punch can be either a manual or a power-driven one.

The doctor’s hair extraction is made easier by the state-of-the-art Cole Instruments punches. Hair transaction is significantly reduced as a result. The punches usually range in size from 0.85 to 1.30 millimeters. Thus, it allows the “Cole Isolation Technique” to penetrate that tissue in a small distance only.

Quality Equipment Is the Foundation for Quality Results

We think that patients deserve the best results possible at Hair Transplant Specialists – New York City (NYC). This is why Dr. Cole spends a lot of time and energy on the equipment that he creates and uses. Physicians are aware of the difference, whereas patients reap the benefits.

What Is the COLE Isolation Technique?

The COLE Isolation Technique is one of the latest techniques in hair restoration. FUE COLE requires the use of a special device in extracting single follicular units. With COLE, the extraction of follicular units occurs from a minimum depth. Thus, it leaves the follicle’s stem cells in the donor area and reduces the damage to hair follicles. Thanks to this unique technique, obtaining the best hair follicles is now possible. Aside from that, COLE Isolation Technique regulates the number of grafts as well.

Compared to many FUE techniques available, COLE is a highly efficient procedure and almost non-invasive. Furthermore, each COLE procedure adapts to the characteristics of the patients. Additionally, COLE made it possible to perform the largest single session of FUE in a single day.

How Does the COLE Isolation Technique Work?

The COLE Isolation Technique process requires a dermal depth analysis to allow the hair transplant surgeon to properly judge the depth of the arrector pili muscle. The depth varies from one section of the donor area to another. Also, COLE allows the harvesting of the follicular unit from different parts of the body.

The COLE device is used together with extremely sharp, stainless-steel punches in which the hair restoration surgeons can rotate, oscillate, and adjust the depth. Also, clinicians can set precise extraction parameters to suit your hair follicles. Aside from that, it minimizes the possibility of transactions.
